The year 2013 started off as a bit of a downer to Jessica Lucas. In April 2010, after a few months of costarring in Cult (which premiered in February 19th 2013, 2013) The show was pulled from schedule. The following year, CW broadcast the remaining shows. However, it was not a great experience being part of a 13-week drama series that was cancelled at the start. However there was a sense the actress' career was improving fast on the big screen. Jessica Lucas starred as Michael B. Jordan's American wife in the film That Awkward Time, which came out early 2014. Problem is, she's been engaged and evidently holds the upper hand in their relationship. Since it's a buddy film, the majority of the story revolves around the three main characters, but Lucas is a force in every scene she is in. In the Paul W.S. movie, as we have already mentioned that she also gets to star in those couple of scenes. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Stroup were her co-stars in the reboot of 90210. They cast her as Riley Richmond, an elementary-school teacher in Melrose Place - a successful remake of a popular 90s show.
